Despite what you may hear from some pundit or see  on the back of a t-shirt, you do play boxing. Padded gloves on a padded floor with ropes around it and an audience sounds like a sporting event to me. Shake hands before, hug after. That's a game, not a grudge. Whatever rhetoric precedes the game is purely promotional.
